The purpose of FishChoice.com is to connect seafood buyers with the most sustainable seafood suppliers. Sustainable Seafood is fish and shellfish that is caught or farmed in ways that maintain healthy populations and have minimal impact on the environment. FishChoice is a nonprofit, conservation minded, organization.
All the seafood products that will be featured on the FishChoice website meet the strict ranking and certification criteria of at least one of the environmental community’s leading organizations… FishChoice doesn't do any of the ranking or certification; we simply take the criteria and apply it to matching seafood products. FishChoice will be working closely with the world’s leading environmental organizations to ensure the accuracy and timeliness of environmental information.
As a commercial seafood buyer, once you register for free access, you will be able to immediately search the FishChoice website and easily contact any suppliers whose products interest you.
FishChoice search results will be based on the ranking or certification preferences indicated in your personal profile, and will provide you with detailed information about environmentally preferable seafood products. You can choose to contact the supplier(s) directly or forward their contact information to your distributor or procurement team.
