Now, this 4th generation family-owned and operated business is one of the largest processors in the domestic shrimp industry. The company has the capacity to offer over 30 million pounds of shrimp from its two state-of-the-art USDC and SQF processing plants located on the Gulf Coast.
The company recognizes the importance of responsible sourcing and is committed to supporting sustainability initiatives throughout the entire supply chain—from local, state and national fishery improvement initiatives to processing facility accountability through distribution to consumers. Paul Piazza & Son, Inc. serves as a lead stakeholder in both the Louisiana and Texas shrimp Fishery Improvement Projects (FIPs) with the Audubon's Gulf United for Lasting Fisheries (G.U.L.F) program to help advance sustainability efforts of the Gulf of Mexico shrimp industry. The company works closely with its committed fishermen to continually improve the shrimp fisheries to meet and exceed the expectations of its valued customers.
