Nova Fisheries is a primary producer consisting of a cooperative of men and women who have worked together since 1985, when the company was founded in Boston, Massachusetts. The company is involved in fishing ventures throughout the world - from fishing the North Atlantic for crab and shrimp to scallop and pelagic fishing along Alaska’s coastline.
The company’s main office is now based in Seattle but it still conducts some secondary processing and manufacturing in Massachusetts. Its facilities produce portion-controlled finished foods, allowing them to offer customers convenient, fun, and value-added foods. NOVA Fisheries make use of satellites for navigation as well as electronics that help to set gear and retrieve it. In its facilities, it uses precision-engineered cutting machinery. It tracks and accounts for vessels and its manufactured foods through computers. Nova Fisheries strives to be innovative and values its customers, always listening and adapting based on their feedback.
