FishWise uses the ratings developed by the Monterey Bay Aquarium's Seafood Watch Program. Additionally, FishWise science staff develops reports using Seafood Watch methodologies for fisheries relevant to their partners that are unrated or have outdated ratings. These reports are reviewed by Seafood Watch and result in a new rating. All reports are made public by Seafood Watch and/or FishWise.
